The latest gossip on the web is that Boba Fett is going to be on The Clone Wars this Friday on cartoon network. I haven't checked out all that much relating to it, but I know there are trailers and rumors all over the internet, so here's a place to put them and discuss the episode and what's in store!

Is there anyone out there who thinks that having Boba Fett on Clone Wars this Friday is going to end up being disappointing? I haven't watched Clone Wars since the first season, but I stopped because I couldn't take the stories they were doing. Also, the fact that they stopped Karen Traviss from further writing the Republic Commando books because of the way they were going to take Clone Wars seems a bit of a cop out. I'm mostly just worried about how they are going to handle Boba's character what with all the books that are already out about him and how he grew up to handle things. That's my main fear with him being on Clone Wars. Also, I'm wondering what Boba is even doing 'infiltrating' the clones. I guess we'll see on Friday night.

So now that we've had a chance to see Friday's episode, what are the thoughts on it? What do you think the best part of the episode was? My personal favorite part was seeing the Slave I again. How do you feel about Boba working with other bounty hunters since part of his character is to be so isolated?
Does anyone have any thoughts on next week's episode? Overall I think that it was a decent episode to introduce Boba Fett to the Clone Wars, but I think next week's episode holds a lot more promise.

Looking forward to tonight's finale! Anyone got any thoughts they want to share about it, either before or after the episode is done? Go ahead and put them here!

Well I was not disappointed by his appearance in the season finale of the Clone Wars! When I first heard that he was going to be in it, and saw the trailer, I was so excited! The trailer was extremely epic.
The first episode, Death Trap, was my favourite. I was extremely moved by the scene near the end where Aurra orders Boba to release the escape pod from the Slave one, and doom the clone cadets to their deaths. The music especially got to me. Great job by Kevin Kiner the composer for TCW
Another scene I really liked was from R2 come home where Maace and Anakin fly their star fighters around the crashed stardestroyer....great visuals.
Yet there were some continuity issues. I dont know if u know of the Boba Fett Clone Wars Adventure series from 2002, but in it, it tells the story of young Boba Fett during the Clone Wars, starting from Geonosis. Boba joins forces with Aurra, Dooku, the Jedi, Anakin and Jabba the Hutt...but in this series, he doesn't meet Mace until near the end of the Clone Wars where he invades the temple (with the help of Governor Tarkin believe it or not!) and attacks him in his quarters. They never met before that, and Boba was wearing his armour by that pont....
great series i reccomend it.
but overall i loved the season finale.

As much as I almost hate to admit it because of what a fan I am of John Williams, I think Kevin Kiner has done an awesome job with the music. I bought the cd for the Clone Wars movie soundtrack and listen to it actually quite often.
I think I know which series you're talking about. The young adult book series? If so then yes, I read many of them and really enjoyed it! The only reason I stopped reading them was because it was hard to find them at local bookstores.
I think there's always going to be some continuity issues due to how massive the SWverse is. The best they can do is try to limit them, but that's just not Lucas' style.
Overall I really enjoyed the finale too, but I'm a little confused by the apparent crash of Slave I. Does Boba repair the ship at some point, or did it not crash all that badly? Or does he just get an exact replica later on and rename it Slave I? I think that was my only problem with the finale. I hope next season we get some episodes of Boba fett breaking out of Jedi custody. That might be pretty cool too, I think.
I was mostly just surprised at how much I enjoyed the two episodes with Boba. I had stopped watching the Clone Wars during the first few episodes of the first season, but these two episodes might make me break down and watch the rest. Have you followed the other episodes?

It took me a while to accept the John Williams was not doing the Clone Wars (blasphemous!)..bu than I heard the clone wars soundtrack and absolutly love what Kiner is bringing to the table!
Yes that's the series! (again go on the internets and order through them!) I have #1, 2 and 6...in the last book Boba has just survived a battle against Grievous, Asajj Ventress, and goes to Coruscant to kill Mace. He ends up running into Palpatine whom he reveals to that Count Dooku , also known as Tyranus, built the clone army...(funny enuf Palps doesnt care...i wonder why...;P
Good series....even if it is for young adults...but i'm still a kid at heart!
Yes...the Slave one crash really bothered me...because it EXPLODED! i'm pretty sure that isnt easy to fix! Yet Boba escaping? I'm thinking he will be forced to forgive Mace, and be let free...
Oh and in the last episode, i was really disappointed with how arrogant Plo Koon was....remember the line.."i am justice?" that is extremely arrogant...what makes the Jetii better than the average republic citizen? That really got to me...but other than that I loved the episodes! Especially the clone cadet one...
