Mando'a is missing a lot of needed words, like prepositions. Does anyone know if they have plans of working on the language? If not, maybe a fan based solution is needed?

According to Karen Traviss' website there won't be any more work on the language which is fine by me if she won't be doing it. In regard to prepositions, it's my understanding that a lot of things in Mando'a are context based and a lot of things are 'missing' because it's faster and easier to form sentences that way. It's not meant to translate from English (or Basic) word for word. Maybe that's to make it harder to learn for aruetiise. If you have time I'd check out this site on Karen Traviss' website, it explains a lot of things relating to grammar: karentraviss.com/html/grammarguide.htm

I barely grasp Enligsh grammar lol And I've read her site So lets say I want to say, "You attack above, I below" how would I without the prepositions above and below? You need some directional preps in order to give orders. Of course they would be simpler and not as many variety as English, but you need something. or "Go in" "OUT!" "It inside"

You look for substitute words. For above I found 'up' which is laam, and below could be 'down' which is daab.
There's also words for 'move', shaadlar and 'there', ogir and the word for 'in' is o'r.

How come I couldn't find the word for "in"? That's rhetorical btw.

How do you look up words? I have a downloaded Excel document from Karen Traviss' site and I just do a search for whatever I need.
