This is hopefully just the start for this message board. My hope is that this will become a meeting place for other like-minded people who are interested in Mandalorians. I don't just mean wearing armor and being a fan of Jango and Boba Fett, I mean the people who have read the Karen Traviss books and understand that there is more to being Mando'ade than wearing armor and reading comics.
I'm sure that I am not the only one out there who feels that sometimes Mandalorians are misrepresented lately in the Star Wars universe especially when it comes to the Clone Wars tv series and the latest comic books. I know that there are plenty of others out there who like the Fett family but that there are people who also know that there is more to the culture than what is presented lately. It is sad to know that Karen Traviss will no longer be writing the Republic Commando books, or any other Star Wars book for that matter, but she has given a real meaning to being Mandalorian that may have never existed and my hope is that this message board will become a meeting place for others who share my love of not just the armor and the look and style, but the culture and sense of family that comes with associating with Mandalorians.
After all, aliit ori'shya taldin. Family is more than bloodline.
