Aliit Nau'ur

Now that our clan name is official (at the time of this post still waiting on two other member votes but for now it's official) I'm creating this thread for all our clan discussions. That includes just getting to know each other so we can be a closer clan despite distance. After all, isn't that part of the cool part of the internet?

The first thing I do want to talk about is the fact that I want to make something for us all to have that is a physical item as a way to feel united/official as a clan. I was thinking of taking the aliik that Fell made for us to use and putting it on t-shirts or something. I had also looked into getting patches done online with the aliik on them. I'd cover the cost of making the item but would just ask you guys to pay shipping if we had something made. What does everyone think about that? At this point I'm looking into any possibilities or suggestions.

Anyway, I'll stop typing now and leave it up to the rest of you to join in.

Ok, so if I'm making the design on these, I need to know

shirts- I'm thinking the text "Aliit Nau'ur" in mando above symbol with the text "<Put Motto-like Text Here>" on bottom. (Maybe "No Arutesii aloud" or "Mando's with Style" "Aint no New Mandos here, we True to the core." )

For Patch- Circle, Triangle, Square , etc for backing shape. I'll use same text from shirt?

Not sure. Aliit Ori'shya Taldin? What do you want Solus?

It might sound a bit freaky But maybe something along the lines of, "Mhi solus tome, mhi solus dar'tome." We're a family and I think that having something like that for a motto would help our unity. "Aliit Ori'shya Taldin," has the same effect I guess.

Actually, I like the marriage contract a ton better, I think it projects a much stronger sense of unity. Oya vod'kandosii!!!

I was thinking something in English to explain who we are to the arutessi (and I use that not in a negative light, btw)(and I think I spelt it wrong)

I'm glad you guys are into the t-shirt idea.

Um, I just woke up but felt the need to stop by briefly. I like all the suggestions for mottos but since I just woke up I don't have much of an opinion yet.

Also, just have to say... love that you guys are getting along and throwing ideas around together.

Well we wont get any shirts if you guys can't decide on what the graphic will be exactly. I mean we could just have a plain logo... I personally can't decide what to put on it. So just let me know.

I'm here! I'm waiting for everyone to decide what they want on the shirts, but no one has said anything in ages but us two. I know Solus is still alive cause she just posted something on fb, but no idea why she hasn't been on here in ages. Don't know about anybody else though. I have attempting to get one friend of mine who loves the Madnalorian culture on here and apart of our aliit, but.... he's not so.
