So these are the names that Fell compiled that everyone suggested for a clan name. Please go ahead and vote so we can have an official clan name!  I set it so it will be open til I lock it. After you vote please just post here and let me know you've voted, but if you don't want to you don't have to say which name you voted for, just let me know you voted. I voted that too, only because I have no idea how to pronounce Nau'ur, I have a hard time pronouncing tons of names that I've made, so don't feel too bad about that.   |

I like it because it sounds sort of mysterious, ancient Egyptian, kinda thing.
Aliit Kotep
For Nau'ur Say the english words now and or. Then take the stop used in the word uh-oh and put it between the now and or. That makes it now-or. Then just add a slight roll to the r and there you have it, Nau'ur.

Yeah, me either. I don't do a long roll like in Spanish. That just sounds silly. It's more of a single flick. But you can do it however you want. LOL!

The pronunciation in my guide says "now-OOR". I'm not so sure about the rolled 'r' or anything, and being a Spanish speaker I'm usually the first to throw it in there were it doesn't necessarily belong heh. But I think everyone will say certain Mando'a words differently, as long as you get the gist right that's what matters. |

"OR" "OOR" is suppose there is a difference. I use a slightly rolled R because that's how the Republic Commando music sounds to me.
Nau'ur means to light up or illuminate. It is the verb form of Nau meaning light.

Like I said, I'm pretty sure everyone says words slightly different so I don't really worry too much about it. And, Fell, I'm really really terrible at making up names haha so with me it's a pretty safe bet I usually got it from somewhere or found it in the Mando'a dictionary. And I'm not fluent either |
