Vode, the time has come for me to complete the first tenet of the Resol'nare. Seeing as how beskar doesn't exist on earth, nor do I have the money to buy armor (wouldn't do that anyway, i need to make it myself) or the skills in blacksmithing to forge my own, I need suggestions, tips, and overall help in making my Beskar'gam. Materials, specs, rescources? Any help is appreciated. Vore, ner vode.

This is going to sound strange so forgive me, but, since you're a guy it's going to be much easier for you to make armor than it is for me. That being said, you have quite a few options available to you. I've heard of people making armor out of anything from large garbage cans, milk jugs to buying a sheet of sintra plastic and cutting it and molding it yourself. There are a bunch of places you can start, but my recommendation is figure out just how much access you have to certain materials. For example, I tried to use sintra to make my armor plates but that didn't work out because I didn't have the right cutting tool and the heat gun I bought wasn't hot enough to make it moldable. My other recommendation is to check out these two places: mercs.firespray.net/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=83e176c2dfecc83e4edb743fd1d19151&action=ezportal;sa=page;p=1and www.thedentedhelmet.com/Both of those sites have a ton of great resources no matter how you want to make your armor. The Mando Mercs site has a section on what you need if you want to join their costuming club, but if you don't want to do that then you're pretty free to do whatever you want with your armor. When it comes to helmets, my personal recommendation is to just save up and buy one. You can either do what I did and lurk around ebay for someone to sell theirs cheaply, or you can go and buy a Rubies Jango Fett helmet and paint it however you want. The only thing is that the Rubies helmet visors are very thin and usually you want to replace them so no on can see your eyes through the plastic. That's an easy fix with a search for the right plastic piece on ebay. Sometimes people sell these nifty things that you just peel and put on the visor like a sticker and that makes it darker without worrying about having to replace the whole damn thing. That should give you a good start. Let me know if you have any other questions, I'm still working on my armor but I love helping out and finding new ways to do things when it comes to armor making.
