Um I'd totally marry Anakin Solo. I'm only slightly embarrassed to admit I had a major crush on him when I was reading the NJO books cuz he was the only character that was my age at the time of reading them and he was just such a good character. Now I'd marry Darman or Fi. Originals or special editions? I ain't answering this one only cause I answered the one before it, but I had to comment on your answer. Don't feel at all embarrassed. When I was 14 and reading the YJK books I developed a crush on Jaina Solo. (Right after she snorted at being called beautiful young woman or whatever her father said on her birthday) So I had my character (that i had put into the story lines while reading them) marry her. He needed someone, poor guy. So be embarrassed you should not.

I prefer all originals except for RotJ. I like the special edition for that one cause Anakin (Hayden Christianson) is the Vader force ghost at the end.
Since these boards are for us Vode, what attracted you to the Mandos? Or were you a Mando from the begining of you SW fandom?

I still haven't warmed up to Hayden in the originals. Just sayin'. Karen Traviss' books definitely started me on it. And I don't think it would have attracted me so much if I hadn't had a ton of real life osik going on between my parents and their divorce at the time of me reading them. Because of that mess I really identified with the culture and with the way my father was acting at the time it helped me stand up for myself and not just stay quiet like an 'obedient' daughter or something during the worst of it. It's a long lame story but that's pretty much the core of what attracted me to the culture. And because I'm curious, I'll ask the same question.

It was definitely Traviss's books that got me. (She's a genius). I can sympathize cause my parents are divorced too, although it was years before i read the books. Also, my family has no definite bloodline (many divorces, adoptions, remarriages, ect.). Really, it was the strong sense of family and love given and no matter to the past. Their combination of power, love, acceptance, strong sense of pride, and fantastic culture just pulled me in.
This question again to any other Vode reading this.

Karen Travis books primarily. But before that I loved just the armor, but only after watching Episode II. I went, "Wow, that can't be the same armor as Boba Fett , I can't believe I never noticed how cool it looked under all that ugly shade of green. Easy being green it is not. Anyway, that attracted me to the armor, Karin Travis books got me to liking the culture. Since the three of us are the only ones so far playing do you two mind if I now ask a different question, otherwise the game will stop until somebody joins in. We can dredge up this question should someone join. So- If you had/have Beskar'gam, what colors and style(neo, true, deathwatch, legacy, etc) would you have? (Me True armor with metallic orange on black flight suit, )

I am making/aquiring mine currently, but when its done it will be super-commando, I think thats the True style. Black with red on a gray flight suit.
What about you Solus?

Those are awesome sounding colors. Well, I've been having some trouble settling on my colors because I have an awesome helmet with yellow/green, and an equally awesome chest plate set with blue/silver. But I'm afraid of painting the helmet so I'm going to paint the rest of the armor to match the green/yellow but toss some more silver in there. I guess it's the true armor cuz it's like the sets in the movies.
Continuing with the armor thing.... what would be your ultimate weapon to use with your armor?

My ultimate weapon is a beskad. Since they don't exist on earth and I have no metalurgy skills, there is a slight problem. I found a cosplay sword, black steel, flat blade, it definitely looks the part. When I get money, thats what I'm getting. Provided it doesn't get sold

I'm guessing this question too is getting repeated. Hmmm.... P-90 (think stargate (also seen in Star Trek(modified), Doctor Who, Eureka (modified on wall), Burn Notice, and many others)) or Katana (Samurai Sword) or Bat'leth (Klingon weapon) or DC-17 (RC rifle) or DC-15 Rifle (Clone rifle, not to be confused with the DC-15 Carbine Rifle), or this one rifle from my own stories that is based on the P-90, or my own Star Trek Phaser Rifle. (there's this one mod for KotOR that gives your player batleths, calling them "Mandalorian Blades" or something. And the model they made for it was more Mando style then the standard batleth. ) ;D What, out of every sci-fi show/movie is your favorite starship?

Being that I asked the last question I'm leaving it to you two, or someone else, to ask the next......
